The Royal Music Association Bonheiden (De Koninklijke Muziekvereniging Bonheiden) brings modern musical entertainment, highly appreciated by both practitioners and audiences. In addition to concert compositions,their repertoire includes especially contemporary music, classical, pop, swing and jazz, supplemented by film music. The music association has about 50 active musicians.
After a thorough renovation of the Royal Fanfare St. Roch (Koninklijke Fanfare St. Rochus) in 2003, the Royal Music Association Bonheiden (Koninklijke Muziekvereniging Bonheiden) was founded. The new musical formation brings music in a new style where each instrument is welcome. With his knowledge and experience, conductor Bart Van Buggenhout increases proffessional performance of our musicians. The music association enjoys working with other cultural associations, such as dance groups and vocal ensembles, ensuring that every performance is a total spectacle.
Since January 2012, the Royal Music Association Bonheiden has also a clarinet ensemble "De Klare Rietjes". They provide regular short performances on the occasion of cultural or other events. Their music repertoire consists of light classical music.
Every Monday at 20.00 they rehearsal in the arts center 't Kranske, Dorp 112, 2820 Bonheiden (access to the building via Poverstraat).
